Fuel cut-off switches

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I apologize if this question has been asked before but i have the 747-400 for FS9.Can someone explain why when i load the cold

and dark flightdeck everything is switched of apart from the fuel cut-off switches and the engines are running. This happens no matter

if i shutdown the default Cessna, load the cold and dark flightdeck at KPAE or doing the TRC #1.Any help would be appreciated.

I think with the PMDG747 it is advised to load it direct...ie not the default cessna first.  I do this and then load the cold and dark panel set-up.

Philip,

Have you tried to create your own situation file?  The default ones may be corrupted.

Load the 172, shut it down, then load the 747.  Verify everything is off, then save your own file ( and name it something) via the FS9  "save flight" option. This will create an identical panel state in the PMDG menu, which can then be used to load the panel going forward.

See if that works.

I sometimes get the engine running after startup dispite opening an engine not running scenario.

My usual solution is rather simple..

shut down the engines with the fuel cutoff switches in the 3d cockpit. and then go about my flight like it never happened :P
