I have high speed cable modem, but the website is loading very slowly. Other sites are not. Is an attack on?

Yes, since the re-design of the front page and the forums the page load times have been noticeably slower for  me as well. The file pages (not changed) load quickly. I use Firefox and perhaps something in the page design makes it render more slowly than others. Just an obsevation.
