July 2, 201312 yr What you did is you turned up the graphic settings in REX (I recommend 1024 but you might be able to run them at 2048). Nothing wrong with PMDG737NGX. You might have your AI settings up higher than 30% too. I do not know about your other settings but whenever you get a crash like this, you should return your FSX settings to the default (save your Fsx.cfg first). I'm not saying you should rename it and then restart FSX and let the config rebuild. I'm saying you should go into your fsx settings and, under Scenery Tab click on reset to default. Do this in the weather and AI page too then run FSX and the flightplan you are seeing the problems and see if this fixes the problem. If the problem still occurs, you can always go back and delete the current fsx.cfg and rename the old one back as the fsx.cfg. It could be a bad "tweak" too. There are many bad tweaks that can actually drastically reduce resources instead of enhancing FSX. You should go into the AVSIM Software and Hardware Guide pinned at the top of the FSX Forum and look at those recommendations. I like to pass on the following link about some bad tweaks and what they do to your system from a known computer expert - NickN - http://www.simforums.com/forums/fsx-tweaks-demystified_topic37948.html. His comments are mostly in RED and you might want to take a look at what you have in your config that might be eating up resources. There is nothing in your crash report to give me any clue as to what went wrong. You also have not provided me (and others) details about your system. A lot of people place this in their profile (see mine in the sidebar on the left) and some place details in their signature. That will help a little. For instance, if you have a Pentium Pro with 2GHz of RAM, this is your problem. With any CTD you need to investigate what might have caused the crash. Mostly, there is no known fix for a crash (unless you have SweetFX or the ENB Module installed). For instance, you could disable REX, run the FSX flight and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, then you know it probably is centered around those settings. The confuse things further, your system could be overheating or your system memory is not properly configured in the BIOS or, if you are overclocked, it could be a too high or too low CPU voltage setting. Hope this helps. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! July 3, 201312 yr Author Thank you jim. I ll try everything you insist me and i let you know! My pc specs are: CPU Intel core i5 3.2ghz(with overclock),Memory card 8gb, Video card ATI 7750 1gb hd! I hope that the problem will be solved soon!
July 3, 201312 yr Author I made a flight without REX and there wasnt a crash. Maybe the problem is REX again! What can i do now?
July 3, 201312 yr Go to the REX forums and register and search for a solution, if you can't find one start a new topic. Their support is very good and is the best place for help with REX. Jon Preston

July 14, 201312 yr Author I am trying to tweak my fsx in ventubo and the list of graphic cards there are 4 and i dont know what card from there is equivalent to mine! Can you help me?
July 15, 201312 yr I'm sorry. I cannot. I disapprove of the Ventubo website auto tweaking of the FSX.cfg. Causes more problems for many. Works for few. July 15, 201312 yr Commercial Member I am trying to tweak my fsx in ventubo and the list of graphic cards there are 4 and i dont know what card from there is equivalent to mine! Can you help me? I run the GTX 470 and usually choose "GeForce 400 series." But I also do some additional hand tweaks afterwards. Still, that would be an appropriate choice IMO. Brandon Filer

July 15, 201312 yr Can you insist me something else for tweaking? Are there any possibilities all these crashes caused by weak graphic card? Yes, there's an AVSIM Software and Hardware Guide. Just click on the Content tab in the Menu above and select the AVSIM guide. You may not need all of those tweaks listed but at least you'll have some knowledge as to what a tweak will do. The guide discusses DX10 settings too but the tweaks and settings are for DX9 or DX10. It's constantly being edited by the author, PaulJ, and you can ask him questions. Another favorite guide is at the following link entitled "Setting Up FSX and Tuning It" - http://www.simforums.com/forums/topic29041.html. The author is the developer of GEX and very knowledgeable of computers and is constantly updating the guide. Right now though he's working on a complete "bible" for tweaking and setting up FSX, much like what Paul is doing. A couple of years ago I tried the Ventubo auto tweaking website and the tweaks didn't make FSX run any better. I personally think that the less tweaks you have, the better FSX will run. I just have the highmemfix=1 fix (which is not a tweak but an actual fix for FSX) and I have tweaked the Texture_Max_Load, Texture_Bandwidth_Multi, and the LOD_Radius settings. Hope this helps. Best regards, Jim I made 2 successfull flights after teaking my fsx.cfg as avsim hardware and tweaking file insists! Maybe the problem was this! It was so simple and nor PMDG neither REX support forums guided me to this problem! Nevertheless i hope that was all! Thank you for your advice and recommendations!
