2D Panel - Gone or Off screen

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I've got a simulator setup consisting of 4 pc screens and one pc running windows 7.

I use this setup to run the default 172 with the top three panels with the 3D view and a lower fourth panel for a 2D panel.

Now in messing around with the screens someone has either deleted or moved the 2D panel and I can no longer grab it. On the screen that should have a 2D panel on it is just a view to the ground below as if the panel is transparent(its not).

This happens with all default aircraft including a paid 152 addon.

I don't want to reinstall FSX as it was a pain to get it all to work and don't want to have to do it all again.

How do I resolve this? is there a way that I can delete a panel.cfg or something similar and then repair FSX?

Cheers, Matthew

There's a pinned topic in the Video, Monitor forum here at AVSIM that provides instructions on setting up 3 or more monitors.  You might check down there for an answer to your question.  I do know there are entries in the Fsx.cfg that identify each monitor.  Perhaps the entry for that 2D panel monitor got corrupted?

Best regards,

Jim
