REX does not load textures into FSX

Featured Replies

Before I'm told to go to the REX forums, I can't. It gives me a message saying I don't have permission to do that.

Latest version of REX Essential Plus.

Windows 7 32 bit.

REX does not load textures into FSX. I've tried numerous times with all solutions I've found, and nothing comes up. Everything is correct as for as I know. I'll click install in the Textures tab, it gives me a 2-3 minute of installing, but the FSX textures remain the same.

You could at least have posted this in a general forum and not in the OpusFSX support forum. But I'm sure someone will be able to help you here.

You need to register  first,  you need to go to forum rules and general discussions/ than go to support verification thread where you need  to add your  rex order number   than once you have done  this  you will get verified  and  than your able  to post issues etc  and  get  great help  from the devs

Also you need  to install the textures  you want  to have  this may take  several minutes  for the first time  you  do this  than you can save  this  as well if  you want, once  you have done this  you don't have  to do  it  again unless  you want  to change  the  textures.

Than  make sure  in the  fsx weather setting  you have  weather  rate  change  set  to none this is important

Run as admin as the above poster  has suggested

But I'm sure someone will help...

That is giving slack seeing as this is the OpusFSX support forum and this is a REX post. Otherwise I would have deleted the topic !

I'm sure  that  some  will give him help, in my original post I  said I agreed with your post  glad I didn't  disagree with you than.

Hopefully he will get back soon and let us all know the problem has been solved.

Do you run REX 'as an administrator'? With FSX shut down before that?

Surprisingly that's all I had to do!

Thanks.
