July 5, 201312 yr Dear Simmers, I would like to ask you whether by any chance you know if AES is now compatable with Aerosoft MA Rome. The scenery has been out quite for a while now, and it's a pity that LIRF is still no activated with AES. Also is there anyone who is willing to repaint a Project Airbus A319 in the New Air Malta Livery?! Thanks Bus320
July 5, 201312 yr Well Rome has just been re-jigged for FS9 and released for FSX. I suspect Oliver will now include LIRF in the next AES release which must be due shortly
July 6, 201312 yr Well Rome has just been re-jigged for FS9 and released for FSX. I suspect Oliver will now include LIRF in the next AES release which must be due shortly When you say "re-jigged for FS9" does that mean the developer has fixed the issues that so many people were complaining about? I would definitely have bought it but there were so many negative comments I held off. If it's fixed, I'll buy it... Cheers mate Ian
July 6, 201312 yr G'day Ian. I don't own this scenery (yet) since Cornel has never been my favourite developer. I was also awaiting AES support to be confirmed before taking the plunge. I cannot therefore be certain whether all the reported issues have been addressed in this remake. Suggest you keep on eye on the Aerosoft forums before spending your very hard-earned. With much respect ...
July 6, 201312 yr Yes, I have thought the same thing. So far the Aerosoft forum seems to have gone silent on the issues so I have a feeling that like the FS9 Heraklion release, the problems may not get fixed. And AES is a must for a payware product - especially from Aerosoft!!! I just hope that the Aerosoft management don't conclude that this is evidence that the FS9 market is dead. I am quite sure many of us would have bought both those sceneries if they hadn't been plagued with programs. (In their defense, I did buy the Heraklion scenery and when I had the same issues as many others had, they let me substitute another scenery in its place)
