A not so newbie problem with Garmin in C90B

Featured Replies

Hopefully a quick question....

i recently returned to FSX and been investing in the Carenado Fleet. I got the C90 at a B& M store, so not the download. I have everything working so far except the Garmin. As you can see from the attached, this is all I get. I know(hope) the answer is simple. I love what has progressed over the past few year with FSX and all its supporters. While I don't  miss the days of DOS and a green line for the horizon, the realism is certainly something to behold. Hopefully some might have the answer to my dilemma? I thank you in advance.

You've obviously run the utility to enable the Reality XP GNS430, but do you have the RXP unit?  It's not included, it's a separate purchase.  If you don't have it, simply run "CAR400.exe" to re-enable the default Carenado Garmin.  If you do have it and you're getting this it usually indicates some sort of license problem.

Scott,

Many thanks...that was exactly the issue...I realized soon after my submittal that the XP GNS430 was an "option". I did get the standard unit functioning. Again thanks for a quick response!

Excellent!  Glad you've got things sorted out.
