Wow, this is a first. We're going to look for a solar energy plant  in Hawaii.  This should be pretty cool to see. I can't believe that with all the flying I've done in this area, that I haven't noticed this.

 

Just goes to show that there are still interesting things to discover in Flight, huh?

If you look closer, you will find that the solar panels, are, in fact, liquid! Good for water skimming in the RV-6. Just don't sink 

 

That's the reason I never thought of  this as being a solar array.  I've seen this many times but it always looked like and aquaculture farm to me.  Oh well, guess it's one of the things they didn't have time to flesh out.
