Solar Impulse landed at JFK last week completing it's cross-country tour of the United States. It was open to the public over the weekend.

 

Unfortunately I was walking in early for my ticket time just as the two pilots, Andre Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard, were walking out. It would have been great to hear them speak about their adventure, but I suppose I'll have to try to see them again after they stop in New York during their around-the-world-flight in 2015.
