When preparing for a landing, if it appears as if the Flight Plan LEGS speed isn’t being followed by the Autopilot, how do I reduce speed?

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish, and what mode you're in.

 

Based on the question, it looks like you haven't flown the tutorial flights.  You should fly these because they will answer your question and give you an understanding of what mode is used when.  This basic knowledge is crucial in being able to troubleshoot here on the forum.
