Combo of Flying Wild Alaksa and Ice Pilots NWT

Recommended Posts

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Long long long before Era Airlines' Wild Alaska Flying and Buffalo Airways' Ice Pilots NWT, there was original and genuine combo of those two airlines.  It is called Reeve Aleutian Airways founded by Robert Campbell Reeve who arrived in Alaska with only 2 bucks in his pockets and started a real Alaskan type airline by leasing a plane for 10 bucks a hour from other airline. His airline Reeve Aleutian Airways was renowned for flying many routes within Alaska in most extreme difficult winter conditions just like you see the two tv shows.

Presenting a typical Reeve Aleutian Airways flight from PAGM Gambell Airport located in the village of Gambell on the northwest cape of St. Lawrence Island west of mainland Alaska in the Bering Sea just south of the Bering Strait at about 63°30' North 173°20' West to PAOM Nome Airport located two nautical miles west of the central business district of Nome, Alaska
