This happened twice today..almost at the same location..right when I cross the Imperial (IPL) VOR..CTD. I fly online with Squawkbox and the PMDG NGX if that helps..

Squawkbox - If you are using Squawkbox and running it internally there is a bug when you receive a private message FSX freezes, goes black, and crashes. Check their forum for an update or fix.

 

If you have further problems or cannot find a solution, then run AppCrashView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html and copy and paste the latest crash here.  The  You should also visit "WhatisHang" - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/what_is_hang.html to get more info on the next time FSX hangs.

 

For the PMDG737NGX, make sure you have the latest patch (SP1c) installed and Microsoft Visual C++2010.  Here is the latest version of 2010 - http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=26999.  It should have been installed with SP1c.
