Mainly for situations where he handles ATC. He will be able to say "Cleared for takeoff runway 25 left KLM 143" instead of just "Cleared for takeoff KLM 143"

 

Besides what WR269 suggested above, when asked about which runway is in use, just speak the runway QFU

 

two five left

eleven right

zero six center

etc...

Could optionally prefix above sentences with thw word "runway"

 

And welcome aboard by the way.
