I'm new to Vatsim and have a couple of questions...

Hello -

I am a new member to Vatsim and I have a couple of questions.

1. I am using Squakbox. Every time I open Squakbox my graphics quality is ruined. I go from having perfectly straight crisp lines and textures before I open it, and then once I start Squakbox all of the lines and textures become awful and jagged. Almost as if there is no anti aliasing. Is there a fix for this?

2. What is the best way to build IFR flight plans? Is there a good app for this?

Thank you in advance. I look forward to finally flying with some live ATC!

Hi there,

1. Sounds weird. Have not really a solution, but had some crashes with SquakBox. Since I have been started it not directly from FSX, it has never been crashed. Try that, start your SB.exe

2. Are you seeking for some valid routes or complete flight plans? There are virtual airline which offer some briefing what contains a flightplan, too. There is also FSBuild or you wait for release of PFPX, that tool has a lot of features and you can do your flightplanning at high level.

I agree with the above. Starting SB outside of FS, should resolve your issue.

Regarding flight planning, there are lots of resources where you can get valid flight plans such as:

http://www.simroutes.com

Hope this helps,
