Speedbreak/Spoiler - problem on right side

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I just noticed something very strange on the last couple of my flights.  When I deploy the speedbreak the right side (FO) does not come up.  I did notice that the handle goes into the "full" position.  Same things happens when the spoilers deploy on landing.

I attached a screenshot.  Let me know if it's too hard to see.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Chris K.

Hey Chris,

Can you check if you have 'advanced animations' checked within the FSX options menu?

If no, enable it.

Well...that was incredibly easy to fix.  You would think after being the only plane I fly since it came out, I would have figured that out.  I blame it to being new to FSX (okay....6 months now)

Thank you Jonathan.  As usual, you are a wealth of information for the MD-11 and contribute so much for us, i.e fuel planner.

Cheers, Chris K.

Can you give us a screenshot? Outside and the overhead pannel, if possible.

Just a quick guess into the blue: Your hydraulics are off?
