Is J41 rudder operation dependant on start up procedure?

rudder doesnt work for me either until you provide hydraulics. Im assuming you are?

Perhaps, I am missing a step. Care to elaborate?

 

FSUIPC Axis Log, shows a continuous input of the RUDDER_SET even with no controllers attached. The continuous input of this phantom controller, prevents the use of the rudder. Perhaps, this is the way the aircraft models the lack of rudder performance without propery hydraulic pressure.

 

However, I have learned even with a clean FSX config file, no FSUIPC, and no addons, the phenomenon is present. It only exists with the PMDG J41, and only exist when the aircraft is on the gound. Extrememly frustrating.
