HI, Newbies to DX10 should headover at FSdreamteam and get KJFK version 2 which is state of the art in DX10 pure FSX code.

 

This is my best FPS friendly airport with the NGX with Autogen max out but water at mid 1x and i am getting 26-34fps on approach rwy 13L in really bad weather AT NIGHT.

 

Flightbeam is simular but i dont think it is supported by DX10 but i have found this KIAD amazing with FPS as well.

 

Hopefully others scenery builders will make these over the years but for know they are kings :-) (CYVR is also a go go)

I'll second Michael's post! - and will also add SimAddons, for their excellent series of DX10 Canadian airports!

 

These airports - the v2 DX10-compatible airports - are probably the very best that our scenery vendors have to offer.

 

I own CYVR Vancouver, which is DX10-compatible, and have purchased KSFO, KLAX and KPHX as "tester" airports for Steve's future addon application - and they all work just fine in DX10, just as with DX9, and with excellent frame rates.

 

These three companies deserve our support, and our thanks for their responding to our movement. It's not every vendor that takes this plunge, and so it would only be "right" for us to show our appreciation by supporting them.

I have 2 airports of both, KLAS, KLAX + KSFO, KPHX and all 4 are really beautiful.

Only Flightbeam's airports don't work with DX10 at night by default, but that problem should be over soon.
