August 6, 201312 yr First post, sorry if already discussed but I can't find anything. I'm using CH's Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pedals. I'm having trouble calibrating my Fighterstick but it's related to the PMDG aircraft only. All FSX stock airplanes work fine, all joysticks work perfectly loading ANY stock FS airplanes. But using PMDG's B737ng, the B747 & MD11 I have identical problems. The pedals & throttle are fine but the Fighterstick: a - noise coming from somewhere, continual erratic movements. I've even unplugged the THR but the problem(s) remain. b - the stick movement is only very slight. IOW, if I move the ELE forward/back, the airplane's ELE moves only about 20% of what it should. Same with AIL. Again, PMDG aircraft only. What in the world's going on? I've racked my brain trying this/that. I'll appreciate help more than I can say in writing! Tkx a bunch! Doug
August 8, 201312 yr Sorry if I'm starting with the obvious. I would ensure everything is set up and calibrated correctly in CH Control Manager and all axes are assigned in FSX. I once had my rudder pedals z axis assigned to my throttles. It took me a few days to figure out why the throttles would be pushed forward and stay there. I do not understand why it would be isolated to PMDG products. From what I know (which is nothing) of their fly-by-software magic the input device does not matter. If FSX can see it then the aircraft should too. It should work just like any other. Can you use the mouse as a yoke to control pitch and roll? PMDG would be the ones best suited to help you if it is truly isolated to their products so I would submit a support ticket next. I have seen some strange things with my CH yoke and rudder over the years but this is not one of them. Good luck, sorry I do not have a better answer. Chuck Biggins
August 9, 201312 yr Author Tkx Chuck, I appreciate your time. Yea, I've had my share of troubles with CH too but usually get things sorted out. Not this time, not yet anyway. I've got the axis' as they should be. Fighterstick = x/y, throttle's z. All calibrated. The THR's slamming back/forth. If I unplug the Fightstick, the Throttle settles down then begins it's erratic behavior again. I've tried different USB plugs and everything else I can think of. I just bought a "Saitek PRO Flight Yoke System". We shall see... I'd like to get higher-end hardware, some of the yokes & Throttle Quads are so nice!, but in retirement I can't afford most of them. Tkx again! Doug
