August 9, 201312 yr OK all of you AS 2012 experts. Does anyone know the difference between "Inland Blue" and "Inland Brown" water textures. I can't seem to find a definition in the AS 2012 help menu, or by googling for an answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, and happy flying.
August 9, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hi, Here little explanation of Inland water, they are more specific area to lakes and rivers etc. http://www.greenfacts.org/en/ecosystems/toolboxes/systems-inland-mountain.htm Inland blue ( for inland area where the inland look more blue), inland brown (for inland area where the inland look more brown), they are placed automatically from FSX scenery specific to lakes and rivers etc. Fsx have ocean, tropical, inland blue and inland brown, As2012 have variant for taste, they are individual group of texture placed in specificic area in FSX water class, but each of these never overwrite each others, you can have one set of ocean, one set of tropical, one set of inland blue and one set of inland brown at once, we don't control where the water class are placed, they are built from FSX scenery. Kind RegardsChris Willis
