August 11, 201312 yr Id like to know if its possible to move an entire Airport base in FS2004 For example i was flying in and out of KVL Kavalina Airport and noticed the default Airport Base is way off Picture below will describe what im referring to.
August 11, 201312 yr I believe so, haven't done anything in FS9 since FSX was released, so not sure, but you will need this http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/ Best, Michael KDFW

August 15, 201312 yr ADE will not do what you want in FS9, only in FSX. Sbuilder is what you will need to use.
August 15, 201312 yr ADE will not do what you want in FS9, only in FSX. Sbuilder is what you will need to use. Yes your correct i noticed that, Im also now just learning how to use S-Builder i use it more for creating Flattens for specific areas, Example i have the Geo-render Collection and noticed that Geo-render's Flying M Ranch does not work well with Ultimate terrain so i used s-builder to fix the problem and it worked really well. Although i noticed that S Builder X has the ability to view the Land class Background within s-builder itself for FSX Haven't been Able to do that with SBuilder 2.05 Any other utilities out there that will allow u to view the Land class background within the utility itself for fs9?
August 15, 201312 yr I wish I knew of one. There's a free program called LMviewer that I think is supposed to show landclass information, but I could never get it to work. Hopefully someone else here knows of something else, or knows how to get LMviewer to show landclass information.
August 15, 201312 yr Yes im very familiar with this program i use all the time but certain things i still have yet to learn lol Ive learn how to edit ciertain things with the LWMViewer v2 lanclass editor
August 15, 201312 yr I use it mainly for double shore line issues and land-class issues as well LWMVIEWER Has helped me tremendously Specially V2 as you can actually see the land class and double shore lines My problem with double shore lines and squared shape land class (Tiles) has been fixed by using this great utility. All these problems accrued back about 2years ago when i was still learning how fs2004 works with HP-HL Bgls and UT and i simply wasnt paying attention lol now that i understand it a bit more ive been able to back track and fix all of these mistakes. Every now and then i find myself flying around at USAFlight Club looking down at the terrain to see if i see anything else that may need fixing if i find something i simply save the game in that area then go back later after the flight fire up LWM viewer and start fixing lol
August 24, 201312 yr Actually ADE works the same for both FS9 and FSX. If the requirement is to move an airport then ADE has a function for that. Sent from my Sony Xperia with Tapatalk 2 Jon ------- Microsoft Flight Sim MVP Airport Design Editor FSDeveloper.com
August 25, 201312 yr Hey Scruffy-duck firstly i want to thank you for your hard work in writing these programs they are very useful i find myself using ADE allot, I guess my question here is if its possible to Re-locate the Airport Base itself I know its possible in FSX but haven't found a way to do this in FS9 B)
August 25, 201312 yr You mean the airport background? If so then Sidney is correct. In FS9, ADE can make flattens but not land class. Sent from my Sony Xperia with Tapatalk 2 Jon ------- Microsoft Flight Sim MVP Airport Design Editor FSDeveloper.com
