FSX will only start from default flight

Featured Replies

Have trawled through Avsim and Google to try to find an answer to this but to no avail. Recently I have found that the only way I can start FSX is on the default flight over Friday Harbor. If I try to start it at another location or load a saved flight, FSX just crashes. However, once I load the default flight, I can then change airports or load a saved flight without any problem. This was not a problem until a few weeks ago, but it is however a bit of a nuisance as it just wastes time and I wondered if anyone out there has experienced this problem or has an answer to it.

Many thanks,

Bill

When it crashes, it should add some information to the Windows event log. Can you check for details there? Post them, please. This might allow to catch a glimpse on some failing module.
