Autopilot disengaging mid flight.

Slowly pull the throttles back..wait a few seconds then push them back up rengage the auto throttle switch.......that should fix it....

Did you do screenshots of your panel and CDU on your flight just now?

 

I think it would be good for you to do the Tutor flight and see if your problem shows up there.

That way PMDG people know it should not cause problems.

I shouldn't have to do that. I've made hundreds of flights from KLAS, KLAX, KSFO, KPHX, and CYVR in the NGX and NEVER had any problem on my old machine.
