August 19, 201312 yr is there an alternative to this plane to run in a home cockpit setup. Aerosoft Airbus doesnt have pop-out panels which is a shame. I have tried a demo of Project Magenta but they dont list any prices which is suspicious.
August 19, 201312 yr Aerosoft Airbus has 2D panel "tweaks" and a SDK. Care to have a look at the Aerosoft forum, Airbus "tweak" section? http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/65608-how-to-set-up-a-system-with-4-monitors-wits-airbus-x-extended/ What happened to AVSIM

If I go the Pm route, I'm confused as to what plane I select in FSX. It says i need the default A320 but that has a rubbish flight model.
August 19, 201312 yr Commercial Member I have only used their GA packages and for the most part work with the majority of the GA aircraft out there. August 19, 201312 yr You can use other aircraft, (and flight models) with PM, but you should choose something that has no system logic of it's own. (So things like PMDG or indeed any complex airliners aren't intended for use with PM, as the aircraft's system logic can 'fight' with PM's logic. I am a registered PM owner for the Boeing suite, and I used the "50 North" series of freeware external 737 models, with PM. For Airbus, something like POSKY, or some other 'exterior model only' version of the A320 will work best.

How is your 737 flight model compared to PMDG?
