Alternative to Wilco Airbus Series Evolution?

Featured Replies

is there an alternative to this plane to run in a home cockpit setup. Aerosoft Airbus doesnt have pop-out panels which is a shame. I have tried a demo of Project Magenta but they dont list any prices which is suspicious.

Project Magenta will send you prices if you request them.  This might give you an idea is it is still up to date.

Thanks for the link, its given me a rough idea on price. If I go the Pm route, I'm confused as to what plane I select in FSX. It says i need the default A320 but that has a rubbish flight model.

I have only used their GA packages and for the most part work with the majority of the GA aircraft out there.

You can use other aircraft, (and flight models) with PM, but you should choose something that has no system logic of it's own.   (So things like PMDG or indeed any complex airliners aren't intended for use with PM, as the aircraft's system logic can 'fight' with PM's logic.

I am a registered PM owner for the Boeing suite, and I used the "50 North" series of freeware external 737 models, with PM.

For Airbus, something like POSKY, or some other 'exterior model only' version of the A320 will work best.

Ah thanks for the explanation. I've grown accustomed to been wary of freeware. How is your 737 flight model compared to PMDG?
