Hi guys,

I'm wondering whether anyone is using IPS panels instead of TNs.

Does SFX run well on 5ms IPS monitors, or would you rather have the faster TN monitor?

I'm asking because I am about to buy a new monitor and would appreciate your comments and advice.

Thanks,

Bob.

IPS tend to have better colour reproduction.

At 5ms you'll be fine.

I went from a 1080P 2ms TN panel to a 1440P 6ms PLS Panel (very similar to IPS) and the image/colour reproduction is much better.

Honestly I don't noticie any difference from 2ms to 6ms.

Pics at all of your monitors running fsx pmdg at all would be good as I'm on the lookout for a new monitor. What about dell 30 inch model?

Thanks for all your replys guys.

As I'm new to SFX I only want one monitor at the moment and 23"or 24" would be good. (Leaves room on desk for additional screens at a later date)

I'm trying to get the best of both worlds so I upped the budget a bit and went for an Eizo FS2333-BK.

IPS and 3.4 ms. Delivery next Friday.

Cheers,

Bob.
