August 25, 201312 yr Does anybody know if the you will need to have a working mouse scroll in order to fly the aircraft. E.g the Aerosoft Airbus X needs one so you can adjust things like heading, altitude and speed.
August 25, 201312 yr Correct, or have the autopilot settings set up as keystrokes or buttons on a joystick. - - Tommy - -
August 25, 201312 yr Mouse wheel is so much easier (when it's implemented right like with PMDG NGX, and harder when it's not done right like PMDG 747X's VC, or a certain Avro RJ100.) I can't remember if right click/left click is a viable alternative? maybe I'm thinking of another aircraft... 747 2d cockpit in FS9? Maybe the MCP popup will have alternative options. August 25, 201312 yr Well considering the NGX doesn't require a scroll wheel (you can left click for down, right click for up on all the MCP knobs) I'm guessing no. I'll leave it to someone who actually has the plane to confirm, but I doubt PMDG would suddenly change the interaction method after having changed it to what it is in the last product.. Steve Caffey
