August 26, 201312 yr Hey guys, I was wondering how i can get GOOD AA in the fsx dx10 mode. I have ticked AA in the fsx ingame menu and set up my nvidia inspector (using a gtx570) like in this picture! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bp0r8nftpr3n9lb/GuiejqcbCf#lh:null-Bioshok.jpg Is it possible to have good AA in the fsx? best wishes enrico
August 26, 201312 yr You have to use at least 4x sparse grid super sampling to go along with FSX's internal settings.
August 26, 201312 yr Hi Enrico: Use these Inspector settings. The one you have is just a 'tester' setting, and will not work properly. (I've since updated the link) Add these two lines to the [Graphics] section of the fsx.cfg: MultiSamplesPerPixel=4 MultiSampleQuality=8 This will give you the equivalent of 8x CSAA Mods - please move this thread to the DX10 forum. August 26, 201312 yr I do not think it is possible to have good AA in FSX in DX9 or DX10 mode. It's broken. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
