August 26, 201312 yr Hi guys, Here is a screenshot of a 777 panel I've been working on for the last 3 days.
August 28, 201312 yr Interesting. FSX or FS9. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
August 28, 201312 yr Author Interesting. FSX or FS9.I'll do whatever I can to make this available on both platforms, FS2004 and FSX. As I'm a FS2004 flyer myself the first version will be for FS2004. The JBPanels 777 panel is already a great panel for FSX so I'll see if FSX users really need this panel. I'm also working on a 747 panel right now, this one will be for both platforms. Very impressive! Thanks a lot!
August 28, 201312 yr Excellent. I'm an FS9 user myself. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
August 28, 201312 yr Author Excellent. I'm an FS9 user myself Then this panel is exactly what you need for your POSKY 777 I assume
August 28, 201312 yr Then this panel is exactly what you need for your POSKY 777 I assume Well, actually, I use the SkySpirit2012 Boeing 777 rather than the Project Opensky Boeing 777, although that won't have any effect on panel compatibility. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
August 28, 201312 yr Author Well, actually, I use the SkySpirit2012 Boeing 777 rather than the Project Opensky Boeing 777, although that won't have any effect on panel compatibility. Yeah sorry I meant SkySpirit2012 777. Saying Posky is just an old habit
August 28, 201312 yr Yeah sorry I meant SkySpirit2012 777. Saying Posky is just an old habit It's all good. Most people don't realize that the SkySpirit2012 Boeing 777 series is just an update to the Project Opensky Boeing 777 series. All you really need to do is switch out the model, XML codes, and paint some new night textures and you're good to go. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
August 28, 201312 yr Just want to note that you do need to use older Posky models if you want to have a VC built into the model, as Skyspirit models do not have built-in VCs AFAIK(of course that does make it easier to merge Skyspirit models with VCs from other aircraft, but this is only possible in FS X). The JB panel does include gauges for a VC, but uses the older Posky models to do so. In addition to the newer Skyspirit models, there are also Posky models that start with "OSX..." But I don't believe the "OSX..." models have VC versions either. Mike
August 28, 201312 yr OSX simply indicates that it's for FSX. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
August 28, 201312 yr OSX simply indicates that it's for FSX. Yes, certainly. I just wanted to point out that if A340300x is thinking of including a VC in an FS9 panel he/she will need to use Posky FS9 models (no "X" in the filename), and not Skyspirit models at all. Mike

Mike Okay I understand your point. But I'm just creating a 2D panel and if SkySpirit haven't included a VC in their new model there's not much I can do, I just create the 2D panel that's it.
August 29, 201312 yr Gauges for the 2D panel can be used in the virtual cockpit as well, so I guess Mike was just pointing out that in the event that you decided to use the gauges for the virtual cockpit, you'd have to use the Project Opensky model. Of course, if you don't plan on doing that, it wouldn't make much of a difference. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
