ive just bought a new computer capable of running FSX properly, looking at getting fs2crew and PMDG737 now that I can use it on my computer, also looking for a headset with microphone for the voice control.

anyone recommend a good usb headset for use with these? nothing too expensive, just want it for voices and plane noise coming from my computer speakers.

I own, and am happy with, Microsoft's  LifeChat LX-3000.

 

These are optimised for voice comms rather than Hi-Fi so treble performance is degraded - to my ears at least. They work fine with the voice editions of FS2Crew as well as with my favoured program, Multi-Crew Experience.

Sennheiser works like a charm for me.  They have a huge amount to choose from.  I own the PC-26 and they work great.
