September 4, 201312 yr Hey guys First, Congrats to PMDG to this outstanding product, untill now no problems with this aircraft one question, how can you toggle that alternate airport feature where we can see 3 or 4 alternates with arrows telling us the distance ? in other words, how can we interact with alternate page on the fmc? Moe ELkarout
September 4, 201312 yr Simply click the alternate page in the FMC and you have four options available. By default they're in automatic mode - but you can enter any four letter ICAO code and then LSK1/2/3/4 over one of the automatic airports generated. To get the arrows, it only works in 640nm range on the ND and to show in normal map mode it must be within 180 degrees of the nose. If you move to the compass rose mode, then you can see the alternates all around you. To delete a manually entered airport just delete it and that field will go back to auto. Just like entering a manual VOR and going back to auto. For a full explanation do check out FCOM VOL2. - Luke Pabari
