I don't have any ATC voices since installing the 777.

 

Is anyone else having the same issue or know of a fix.

 

It is affecting all my add-on aircraft.

Check the Radio/Audio panel and make sure that panel looks like the picture on page 59 of the Introduction manual. The Comm #1 microphone and volume knob should be illuminated yellow.

Ah ok. Have you had a look at the sound settings in FSX? Maybe for some reason they were turned right down?

 

Just nocking over the basics mate, not too sure why that would have happened.

I have been running with FS ATC during beta and never encountered any problems with the voices. DO you get the text messages as usual? Only voices missing? This sounds like it is not related the the 777. Any other changes made at or around install?

The text box appears but there is no ATC sound.

 

It was working yesterday afternoon with the NGX and the only change made is installing the 777.

I don't own the 777 yet buying this weekend, but try uninstalling the 777 see if the voice works without the addon.  If it works, something in the addon is causing the voice to not work.

Did you check you FSX configuration setting?

Yes, they are al turned up to the max but should be able to hear ATC.

 

How do I raise this with PMDG as earlier said everything was fine yesterday and now nothing.

 

I don't want to have to install the whole of FSX as this would take ages to re-install everything.

Ok, I suggest opening a ticket with PMDG. They should be able to provide further assistance.

If you have this with all other aircraft as well, I would also uninstall, then check FSx ATC.

 

If ok, then reinstall the 777.

 

Reinstall with antivirus software off and as administrator (I do that for everything I add to FSX)
