September 5, 201312 yr Let's start with the RC issue. When I let Otto have COMS, it does not change the frequency, I have to take the COMS back in order to manually do so, when I'm forced to do it manually it takes me 2-3 presses to change the frequency. I also noticed that the frequencies on the actual radios on pedestal never change. Do I have something incorrectly set? THR REF I was at PAE 34L starting my first flight, I set the throttle to 45%, let it roll for a couple of seconds and engage the TO/GA. The throttle picks up just fine and at about half way of the runway it's switching from THR REF to HOLD. Any ideas what am I doing wrong? Thanks for any input. Jacek Gawecki Jacek G. September 5, 201312 yr The Throttle Hold mode is a normal annunciation during the takeoff roll. It allows you to take manual control of the throttle if you need to abort the takeoff. After you push the TO/GA button push your hardware throttle to full and you wont have any issues. You can turn off this feature in the FMC so that the hardware throttle will never override the autothrottle. John Sturm
