September 5, 201312 yr FCOMv1 NP.21.53 (pg 251) says to depressurize hydraulics and turn off fuel pumps after engines fuel switches are set to cutoff. The ECL Normal Shutdown checklist has the hydraulics depressurize and fuel pumps set to off while the engines are running. Do you follow the ECL in order? I tend to believe the FCOM takes precedence. What do you think? Chuck Biggins
September 5, 201312 yr That's a do - verify checklist, and do not represent flow. Lj. Prodanovic
September 5, 201312 yr Author Ok. Thanks. The engineer in me says the ECL should be in an order. You would think it would be more logical to put it in an order that agrees with the FCOM. I hope the non-normal procedures in the ECL are in a logical order. Chuck Biggins
