Entering winds aloft data manually?

Featured Replies

In the tutorial I noticed the option to request winds aloft data using the .wx file.

In case I wanted to enter the data manually, I'm not sure about the &&& CDU logic, since I got so used to the NGX.  For example, on the NGX I can enter
"250/53" at a certain waypoint in my cruise.  The logic on the T7 CDU is _ _ _ _ / _ _ _C at a given waypoint. Is it asking me to inpute winde direction&speed / outside temperature? I've been trying different combinations, but get "invalid entry".

Just curious.  This plane was well worth the wait. My NGX is jealous of the sudden decrease in attention after its sibling arrived :)

Thanks!

Welcome - let us know if that doesn't work.  For what it's worth, FCOM2 explains all of this in greater detail.  Search for 11.42.39 (it'll be the second result - the first is the ToC)
