I was going to hold out until the NG3, but I gave up and don't regret it. I really like the DC-6, and it got me out of my 737/747/777 comfort zone that I've been in since 2013. Also, I thought MSFS 2020 plus PMDG quality airplane would mean me having to get a new system. I'm happy to report I was wrong. I made this video of the Washington, D.C. area:

I have a two-year-old system with most setting maxed out, and it's looking fantastic!

I uninstalled the client, deleted the shaders, and reinstalled the client. All working well now.

I'm not new to upgrading P3D, but this time around FPS went from 30s in v5.1 to single digits in v5.2. I have not changed any settings. Trying to troubleshoot and hoping not to have to do a clean reinstall of everything.

I dropped it last week in favor of AIG AI Manager, which is very easy to use. I have over 1200 accurate flight plans and models now, and the program lets you know when updates are available. I'm not looking back.
