September 6, 201312 yr I'm sorry if this question has been asked. I did search the forum, but didn't find anything. After loading the cold and dark panel state (777 CLDDRK), then switching the battery ON, everything remains blank (off?). In the PMDG-777-Introduction.pdf, it says: In the case of turning battery power on, the aircraft is only giving you enough power to start the APU or connect ground power. I can turn the APU on, but until it is actually running, I see nothing at all (the VC remains cold and dark). No Displays and nothing on the CDU's. I want to use ground power until just prior to engine start (my preference), when I will turn the APU on to start them. Unfortunately, because the three CDU's remain blank, I can't access the menu to be able to connect the ground power. I have also searched through the manuals to see if I am doing something wrong, or I've missed something, but I found nothing except what it says in the PMDG-777-Introduction.pdf. Any help is appreciated. September 6, 201312 yr If you read the manual carefully, you know how to do it. In cold and dark, switch the battery to on. then press and hold menu button on the fmc, and the menu will appear. Go to the Introduction Manual, PAGE 60 (0.00.60) and then voilá. Jason Cardeira
