September 6, 201312 yr Hi everyone, few days ago I installed new internet connection and now my computer works with wifi ( usb wifi detector) and since then fsx do not connect to internet, I cannot download real weather, neither activate any new product online. Internet is working great and fast. I,m not a computer expert and I can not find what is blocking this. Any ideas? Thank very much.
September 6, 201312 yr You will probably have to rename your fsx.cfg to fsx.orig, restart FSX and let fsx.cfg rebuild. If you have a commercial weather addon installed (like REX, OPUS, AS2012), you should reinstall the product. The wifi detector has nothing to do with your Internet connection. September 6, 201312 yr This may be completely off the mark, but a long time ago I was not able to download real weather in FS9. The reason was that Internet Explorer somehow got set to "work offline." I almost never use Internet Explorer, but apparently it is still involved in downloading weather(at least in FS9). Mike
