September 6, 201312 yr The picture in the attachment explain it more.. Tried everything from re installing the airplane to rebuilding the shaders etc.. Couldn't find something that would help! Also this is noted in DX9 and 10. ** In case it's not very visible in the picture.. the light would look like it's been dotted instead of being smooth in the surface of the wing. Thanks
September 6, 201312 yr It is a graphics issue on your machine. Please read Ryan's Inspector post in the General Forum as well as the Intro Documentation. There are a LOT of screenshots that show this is an isolated issue- and one that you will solve. Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
September 7, 201312 yr Commercial Member Guys, this is not a technical issue, this is rather an issue that I had to settle on due to the fact that we want to see a nice smooth bend in the wing when it is flexed. This presented an issue with mapping exterior lights onto a skinned object and hiding that particular layer, due to a peculiar thing we call - FSXism. FSX does not like hiding objects that have been attached to a skinned object. Thank you ACES. However the solution that worked best has a very severe limit on texture size and colors - again, an FSXism. Its a limitation of FSX but the options we faced did not have a solution that would have given us the best results. Yes it looks like this when you look at the wing from the cabin, but from exterior view, it is not so bad. You will have to live with it, I had to....
