September 7, 201312 yr All of a sudden when I start up and load my plane, it has the ground power units while i"m on the runway, I have even tried to load panel state to cold and dark and back to LONG/SHORT, and still the same, my ADIRU is off, my wheel chocks are set, the left entry fwd door is open, this happens everytime I load up no matter what panel state. Everything was working fine, so I'm not even sure what is causing this strange behavior? The rudder on the tail is turned all the way to the left too. How can I fix this to where the plane is on and ready for takeoff without the ground power units connected? The last thing I remember was while my plane was in the air that I still had the gpu's connected to my plane. There seems to be a problem with the LONG/SHORT panel states. September 7, 201312 yr The last thing I remember was while my plane was in the air that I still had the gpu's connected to my plane. That happens if you change repaints without selecting a different aircraft first. ie: If you load up FSX with the 777-200LR in the Delta Airlines repaint, then without changing to a default cessna, ending flight to the menu screen, or even opening up a 777-200F, and instead change your aircraft directly to the 777-200LR in Air India repaint with the alt-menu change aircraft, - this will happen. Steps are: Currently in a 777-200LR aircraft in one livery Change to something that ISN'T the 777-200LR or "End Flight" from the alt menu Change to a different livery for 777-200LR Start Flight all good. If you skip that 2nd step, GPU will be connected airborne AND the spinners & fan blades in the engines will look wierd. I have even tried to load panel state to cold and dark and back to LONG/SHORT, and still the same, my ADIRU is off, my wheel chocks are set, the left entry fwd door is open. All 3 of the mentioned panel states (Cold/Dark, Long and the Short one) come with the ADIRU off, Wheel chocks set and the left entry (L2?) door open. It's not that they are not loading, it is that they ARE loading, and you have probably made your default starting panel state one of these. Cold/Dark means the aircraft is unpowered. Long means that the aircraft is set up for a Long turn around (1h30min) Short means that the aircraft is set up for a Short turn around (50min default, can be as short as 15 if you don't use the ground ops auto modes.) I repeat again. Long start state = The aircraft should be at the gate and about 1 and a Half hours away from pushing back Short start state = The aircraft should be at the gate and at least 15 minutes away from pushing back. My suggestion is start up the aircraft, and then create a new saved panel state. The aircraft will then be configured like that when you load that state. You can even select that start state to be the default startup state. Trent Hopkinson, 2015 Crewmember of www.mangrove.com.au WorldFlight sim Youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/musicalaviator
September 7, 201312 yr Author Well I figured out what it was, I deleted the 777 options.ini file and now everything is back to normal again.
