Now it's supposedly to be released on June 12th. And I really want to have it (for me, buying online on foreign servers is a no-go)!

 

 

That date is just a place-keeper. Aerosoft requires it for purely technical reasons.

 

There will be no box before the SP1 has been released and proven to be sufficient (like in "no SP2 required").

Just a little trivia for you Kilian.

 

The boxed version will still need you to activate the product online, as far as I know.

 

So you will be using "foreign servers" anyway. Flexera, whose licensing software is used by newer PMDG products (JS41 onwards I think), is an American company. So expect US based activation servers.

 

Depending on the exact DRM model used, FlexNet might communicate with those servers from time to time. FlexNet also has some issues with TrueCrypt system encryption. If you use something like this, expect issues.
