September 8, 201312 yr On a long haul, while auto time compression was being used by the sim at 4x, I noticed the captain's PFD and ND were frozen. FO's panel was ok though. A first click on the clock clickspot to disable de auto time acc was not effective, but then it worked and, as soon as the time rate was back to normal I regained the normal function on the captain's side. Later on the same flight the same happened, and was cured same way. September 9, 201312 yr Commercial Member I noticed the captain's PFD and ND were frozen. This can sometimes happen if you cycle views using 'S' in remote parts of the world. This is because of the default tower view mode. It won't find a tower within limits, which will then mess things up in the sim. It's recommended that you use right clicks to change views when in these segments to avoid these issues. I believe the exact language is in the intro manual, which might be worth a look since I'm paraphrasing. It's unrelated to the compression mode. That was coincidental. Kyle Rodgers
