dedicated fsx pc with two SSD Samsung Evo's

Featured Replies

so I am slowly finishing my haswell watercooled build, this week I will get 1 Samsung evo 250 GB, and a 750 GB.

This will be my first use of SSD's. What would be the ideal setup. I believe not in raid? But what about this rapid storage? I can use that on 1 ssd, will there be a benefit.

for now I am looking at;

250 GB ssd, OS + fsx programs

750 GB FSX + planes and scenery

maybe someone has a similar setup or some pointers what to do?

Appliance, you mean about keeping fsx seperate, think it will also not harm. I like to keep fsx free. What I really looking is, are peole using this rapid technology?

Also it would only be possible to use it on 1 ssd, so which to use the 750GB or the 250GB with OS.
