I never really bothered to try it but i finally merged these two. WOW i love it. Just wondering if there is anyway to get the Engine EGT and engine speeds to read correctly? much appreciated

Here's an example of my iFDG A320 aircraft.cfg updated with engine, turbine, radio and flap info from the PSS A320. This cures the EGT temp readings and helps the merge work best. Lee,Which airfile are you using?and should I use this info on A319, 320, 321 or is there any better way to do it?Hello Airbus fellows,first of all a big compliment to the iFDG group for that superb Airbus A320 model. PSS' panel won't be able to compete with that model but anyway I'll post instructions on how to merge the the PSS panel with the iFDG A320 model.Requirements:- one of iFDG's A320 models.- PSS A320 Pro packageInstructions:1.) Copy the panel.cfg of your PSS A320 in the the panel folder of your iFDG Airbus.2.) Copy the sound.cfg for the CFM or IAE engines, depending on the model you are using, in the sound folder of the iFDG Airbus.Also copy A320C.air or A320V.air, again depending on the engines your model is using, in the main folder of the iFDG mode.3.) Make a backup of the aircraft.cfg, i.e. call it aircraft.bkp and open the aircraft.cfg of the iFDG model and the PSS model. Be careful and don't mix up the two files!Replace following parts from the iFDG aircraft.cfg with your PSS aircraft.cfg:(GeneralEngineData)...(WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE)...(fuel)...(TurbineEngineData)...(Reference Speeds)...(autopilot)...4.) I think there are a couple of points missing from these instruction, mainly to d with the EPR/N1 ECAM readings. If you want to, have a look at the inbtructions at the British Airways Virtual Airbus hangar (click the link in my sig below).

Good post! This combination really does give you a payware quality a320. And you're only paying for half of it! I saw the "this only works on the 320," but I have to ask too; Will this work on the other models? Just the 319 I'm thinking about. Oh, btw, we forgot Pedro's flight dynamics. Then you have the total package. With lot's of repaints, good sounds, blah blah. billgEDITED: for political sensibilities.....

Oddly enough, the iFDG A320 needs the most doctoring to work right. The A319 and A321 can use the original iFDG airfile and aircraft.cfg, updating the only flaps and radios to the PSS settings. They work fine. The A320 is another story. The above merge steps will work.Lee

Guys ; Have any of you been able to interact fine with AS2004.5 and the merged panel?.I

above fl25 the air is thinner? Most of my aircraft don't climb well above that. Well, the cs 104 climbs well up to 90,000 feet but that's the exception that proves the rule. Don't think I've ever had a big iron climb more than 800 fpm after I'm at 25fl, and most climb more like 2 or 300 if you're loaded.EDIT: I recall seeing some charts for the airbus family on the boards. They had climb charts and landing speeds and a bunch of other stuff. Didn't search, but if you can't find them, post, and one of us might be able to look it up. billg

If you use the PSS airfile with the iFDG A320, the plane will climb. The aircraft.cfg also contains the PSS engine info.
