YMML RNAV34 and TOGA problem

Recommended Posts

Hi,

can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong ?

I was doing a RNAV34 approach in YMML with LNAV/VNAV when i desided to make a goaround hitting the TOGA button.

The engines spooled up to about 80% N1 and i retracted the gear after a positive climb. and set Flaps right away. I took my throttle all the way up after hitting TOGA and have my throttle at max. I noticed the speed drop so i hit FLCH but the speed was still going to stall and below. So i desided to disable the A/T and i had to take my throttle back an forward again to spool the engines back up. The throttle is not calibrated in FSUIPC. only via FSX menu.

Disregard the flaps setting on picture because i was more focusing on the speed dropping so i know its wrong

Thanks

Michael

I believe that FL CH is commanding IDLE because you're above 200'.  It's assuming you're trying to descend to that altitude (set in your MCP ALT window).

That makes sense. The 200 was just a incorrect altitude set for VNAV to control the descent. Should have been minima for the approach chart but yes i forgot to change it to missed approach altitude after TOGA. Thanks Kyle.
