Hi !

AFter i load the 777 i set dark and cold and then turn on batteries but the screens never come alive even after 5-6 minutes! What can be the problem?

Thanks

Read the intro guide.....

It will tell you many useful things, particularly that even with BAT power, nothing will happen. You must apply some other power source first. If you hold down the MENU button on the CDU, it will come on so that you can connect the GPU.

Read the FCOM Vol. 1, on page SP .6.2, it explains the Electrical Power Up Supplementary Procedure. After turning on the batteries, you will have to turn on the NAV Lights, then the APU (or ground power) for the airplane to come to life. (It will seem like nothing is happening for about a minute twenty seconds besides that the BRAKE SOURCE, L GEN CTRL, and R GEN CTRL lights are turned on.)

It makes sense for that i pressed the menu button but nothing happened. Maybe i have to try to keep it pressed a bit longer that what i did.

I will give a try

Thanks to both
