I want my default T7 loading back

Featured Replies

I start FSX with the default Cessna 172. When I load the T7 it loads with the dark and cold variant. How do I change to the original set everything on running including the engines. When I first bought the T7 and load it up, after some seconds it was ready to fly. Please help.

Go into your Menu on the MCDU and from there go into the PMDG Setup, adn from there on your right you will have the start-up Panel options. Select the options you want..

Hi Stelios

you just need to delete the entry on the PMDG Setup page in the line called Startup State using the DEL - button.

  1. Go to PMDG Setup in your FMC.
  2. Press DEL.
  3. Press LSK3R (Startup State) It will be empty again.

Hope that is what you meant.

PMDG no longer recommends loading a default aircraft before loading the T7. Loadng one aircraft on top of another can reduce performance. Please read the introduction PDF for the T7.

Rick I did that, It has 3 options. 1. CLDDRK  2. LONG   and 3 SHORT. If I select LONG or SHORT the T7 loads the instruments but the engines are off, where as in the original setup the engines were running.

Right now I'm in the middle of a flight. If I change my Panel States, I will lose the flight, but as soon as I get the chance, I'll try to look into this. In between you may be lucky as someone will beat me to the punch and furnish you with the correct help.

I did go  to PMDG Setup in your FMC and press DEL. That did the job. But I couldn't understand your No. 3. . Press LSK3R and enter it in the Start up Stare? Why?

When I press DEL nothing happens. Only the message DELETE in the scratchpad.

Therefore I needed to press the button next to the entry "STARTUP STATE". That button is called LSK3R (Line Select Key 3 Right)

Only after this last step is the startup configured as in the beginning. It shows "-----".

Happy that it worked for you anyway,
