B777 Upper EICAS Compacted Mode

Featured Replies

Quick question: How does it come that in the PMDG 777 there is no compacted mode for the secondary engine indications modelled? As far as I know, in real world at least the Freighter version is equipped with it. Or maybe I just couldn't figure out how to bring the indications up, but clicking twice on "ENG" on the EICAS control panel doesnt work...

Hate to say it, but: yep - this isn't the NGX...

It's possible, but in order to get it, you have to use a little trick.

Take a look at the video here:

The guy's narration is all in German, but you can very clearly see his process in where he's clicking and when to get the compact display.

It's modelled accurately as well, works just as in the real airplane!

To easily sum up how to show the compacted instrument display on the upper EICAS just do this:

set your right inboard dspl selector to from MFD to EICAS, then press the ENG button on the DSP then turn the selector to MFD and presto...compacted secondary engine display on your upper EICAS!
