PFPX Exports to RTE.2

Featured Replies

I've seen something about the newly-updated PFPX to 1.0.6 earlier today  but cannot seem to locate it with a search, hence the ask. All of a sudden, after updating, now can no longer export route plans in the previous RTE format and the FMC Route Request cannot now see these new RT2 plans. Any ideas?

The newly added functionality allows you to export the route to the RTE 2 function for the FMC.

When you export in PFPX to the PMDG, what are you selecting?  I use the 'PMDG Simulations (NGX)' selection and have no issues for RTE 1.  'PMDG Simulations' seems to export RTE 2 formats.

When you export in PFPX to the PMDG

Selecting the non-NGX PMDG Flightplans folder where I've been successful exporting all the pre Update 1.0.6 flightplan exports to.

Cheers, Mats. Will do.

I never knew why there were two different exports for PMDG so I always did both, not knowing which one went where.  However, with the new RTE 2 export, when you click the 'Export To' category and then select 'Export' it will tell you if it exported a RTE 1 or RTE 2 plan (the pop-up).  The 'PMDG Simulations (NGX)' is the RTE 1 export for me.  No idea why or how it got configured that way.

Thanks for that elucidation, Greg. Me too, could not figure out why 2 different places for PMDG Flightplans. But in this instance, I do not have the NGX installed so I cannot see where else it can go. Still, none the wiser.
