Milviz.com installer vs Flight1.com installer for 310R?

Featured Replies

I bought the 310R from Flight1.com a long time ago and was wondering if the installer exe from milviz.com can be used?  It says it's version 1.1/SP1 which I'm assuming is newer than the Flight1 version which is 1.012011. However the Milviz.com installer is telling me my account isn't associated with that product. The F1 installer works fine though.

If I can't use the milviz.com installer how do I get the latest version?

Thanks.

The files are the same. The "Flight1 Installer" is only a "wrapper" that contains the "Milviz Installer."

When you run the "Flight1 Installer" it allows you to purchase or reinstall the product. It will "unwrap" the Milviz Installer and run it automatically for you.

Sorry, I meant the wrapper from Milviz.com not the installer. The Milviz.com one is called MV_C310_SP1 and the Flight1.com wrapper is called Milviz-C310R. The MV_C310_SP1 wrapper says it's version 1.1 and the Flight1 wrapper says 1.012011.

Looking at the download link at milviz.com, I see that there is only one file available for download. A note just above the link states:

Notice: This is the latest version (1.012011) of the product.

All downloads from any portal (Flight1, Simmarket, or direct from the website) are the "latest version" regardless of the numbers cited.
