PMDG 777 WWJD (What would jesus do moment)

No failures selected or anything. In cruise of flight. Closed FSX re opened it and then the aircraft decided to do a -40000 V/S to the ground I had control re engaged autopilot after climbing back up to cruise altitude but then autopilot would disconnect in about 5 seconds and again another nose plummet.

What do you mean by that...

With the complexity of the T7 jumping in and out of the FSX screen would mess up your FSX processes and even be able to crash it if you are persistent.

That happened to me with the NGX twice. I didn't change windows or anything, it just plunged for no reason. No idea why it happened, but since it was just those 2 times of hundreds of flights, I didn't really worry.

What do you mean? I myself have a crashy FSX and am using FSUIPC's built in autosave. Whenever FSX crashes, I'll just reopen it and load the last autosave that FSUIPC generated. After loading the autosaved flight, the 777 is configured exactly as it should. This even works in flight.

The only downside of using the autosave is that whenever FSUIPC does the saving, at the interval you set it to, there's a small 4 second freeze which is a little annoying when it happens during take off or landing.
