September 15, 201312 yr Recently purchased the C172R and have been having " fun " with the paintkit ever since . First out of the paintshop is PH-EAM which used to be based at Schiphol ( EHAM ) but that is no longer the case . Some time ago I had painted this aircraft for Flight1's C172R and wanted to do the same for Carenado's C172N but the texture mapping on that one let me down . here are some screens of PH-EAM ( still a " work in progress " ) . September 15, 201312 yr You'll see that comin' eh? I went to Schiphol once, wouldn't want to park a little plane there, you'd never find it again! Striking paint! The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
September 15, 201312 yr Author I think it had more to do with landing and parking fees as it was based at Schiphol East ( far away from the terminals ) . Try parking your car at Schiphol ( just don't forget to rob a bank on the way there ) ! Certainly fits the " unusual paint " category , no couple of wavy lines and finished job . Keep on taking it out for a ( quick ) flight to get the paint to dry . John
